Reliance Valves upgrade Tenant Valve Plus to offer greater flexibility in high-rise water control
In response to customer feedback, Reliance Valves’ popular Tenant Valve Plus is enhanced to bring even more benefits to specifiers and contractors who use this time- and space-saving solution for water control in high-rise buildings.
Part of RWC’s family of brands, the new Tenant Valve Plus efficiently controls and monitors water supply to high-rise and multi-occupancy properties by uniquely combining several functions into a single compact unit. These functions include an isolating ball valve (WRAS approved as a mains stop valve); a pressure reducing valve with strainer; a double check valve; a patented dual reading pressure gauge that shows upstream and downstream pressures; optional connection points for water meters and a moulded insulation case.
The latest version of the valve includes enhancements to the pressure gauge, enabling readings to be taken at any orientation, meaning that if the unit needs to be fitted upside down, one can still read the gauge as it is reversible. In addition, the Tenant Valve Plus includes an adaptor for connecting Class D water meters, joining the existing optional connection point for Class A meters.
As well as being faster and simpler to install than a traditional chain of valves, the all-in-one cartridge also makes maintenance quicker and easier, and significantly reduces the number of costly leak points.
“The Tenant Valve Plus by RWC provides a handy solution to this problem, meaning that installers can significantly simplify and speed up the process.”
“The valve isn’t specification only and can also be purchased off the shelf, yet we ask anybody who wants to find out more about how it can improve productivity and efficiency to get in touch to arrange a demo.”
