Defect:
A small number of these valves have been identified where the black cartridge has not been fully tightened into the brass housing. The automatic temperature and pressure relief safety functions of the valve have not been affected however there is a small chance of leakage if the valve is manually opened.
No other Reliance Valves products have been affected.
What to do:

If the valve has not been installed, it can be returned to your merchant referencing this notice. If the valve has already been installed, a service visit will be arranged to retighten the cartridge.
