Thermostatically blends hot and cold water to a safe outlet temperature

Reliance Valves Ausimix Compact TMV2 Thermostatic Mixing Valve blends hot and cold water to a constant and safe outlet temperature to prevent scalding. The compact valve is available with a variety of connection ends.

Water is commonly stored at high temperatures to prevent Legionella. To protect end users from accidental injuries, the Ausimix mixes hot and cold water at the point of discharge to a safer and cooler temperature. If the cold water supply fails, the valve automatically shuts off the hot water to prevent unsafe temperatures from reaching the outlet.

TMV2 approved, the compact valve can deliver 35 l/min at 2.5 bar pressure. It is also compliant with Building Regulation Part G.

There are two options available: the 2-in-1 valve comes complete with strainers and check valves, whereas the 4-in-1 also includes test ports and isolation valves. Both versions feature a unique temperature adjustment tool incorporated into the cap.

Ausimix Compact is available with flat faced union connections or with SharkBite push-fit connections. There is also a 15mm telescopic 2-in-1 option that is ideal for retrofits, as the inlet adaptors can be adjusted to suit a wide range of installation dimensional requirements
