Tundishes

Reliance Valves range of plastic tundishes are most commonly installed within heating and cooling systems to act as a safety device for pressure and temperature relief valves. Water flowing through a tundish is an indication of a fault with the system and alerts the occupants of the building to the fault.

Tundishes also act as a backflow prevention valve with its primary purpose to prevent cross-contamination between a water systems overflow or discharge pipe and a sewer line or drain. It also incorporates a slimline AA type air gap and is available in a variety of angles and sizes.
